Allyson Lavoie and Emily Kratz, students in Antioch University New England’s PsyD in Clinical Psychology program, recently attended the 2026 National Meeting of the American Psychoanalytic Association, one of the nation’s leading conferences for psychoanalytic education, research, and clinical practice. The conference brought together clinicians, scholars, and students from across the country for presentations, workshops, and discussions on contemporary issues in psychoanalysis and mental healthcare.
Lavoie attended the conference with support from a grant award. During the event, both students participated in sessions featuring nationally recognized speakers and practitioners and particularly valued the opportunity to observe a live supervision session with psychologist and author Jonathan Shedler, PhD.
