Michael Simpson, Faculty Emeritus of the Environmental Studies & Sustainability program at Antioch University’s New England campus, interviewed author Peter Hill about his recent book, River Profiles: The People Restoring Our Waterways, published by Columbia University Press.
Hill has worked as a specialist in stream restoration for over two decades, first in Washington, DC, and then as a consultant for Great Lakes Watershed Opportunities. He is a senior policy advisor for green infrastructure at the Environmental Policy Innovation Center in Milwaukee, WI. Hill brings in-depth experience in managing major multi-agency stream and river restoration projects, including partnership-building that sustained multi-stakeholder ecological restoration efforts and resource management projects in underserved areas.
