Celebrating Sarah Ceja’s Latest Publication

Congratulations to Sarah Ceja, AU Writing Specialist Coordinator, on the recent publication of her article, “Contingency and Care: Reimagining Graduate Student Labor Through Writing Center Work,” with the WAC Clearinghouse!

As lead writer, Sarah collaborated with co-authors Beatriz Ramirez and Christine Sharp to explore the often unseen emotional, intellectual, and organizational labor of graduate writing consultants. Through critical reflection and collaborative case studies, their article considers how writing center work can both respond to and challenge the pressures and structures that shape higher education.

The WAC Clearinghouse is an open-access publishing collaborative and a leading resource for supporting writing and speaking across the curriculum.

Sarah brings this same depth of knowledge and experience to her work in Antioch University’s Writing Support Department. She is currently contributing her perspective and writing center administration expertise to the department’s reorganization efforts.

We’re delighted to celebrate Sarah’s accomplishment and the scholarship and expertise she brings to the AU community. Congratulations, Sarah!
