Nicole White, PhD ‘22, an alum of Antioch University’s Graduate School of Leadership and Change, has been appointed Assistant Professor at Cincinnati Children’s Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and named the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology’s Fellow of the Future.

Fellows for the Future is a 12-month program for early-career researchers from historically excluded groups, offering mentorship, leadership training, and professional development to foster inclusion in scientific societies. White’s work will focus on advocating for the integration of people with disabilities in the STEM field, and she will partner with the Association for Biomolecular Resource Facilities.
White’s research is focused on family navigation and care coordination, healthcare systems research and models, social and community support for children with disabilities, research engagement among caregivers and people with intellectual developmental disabilities, and delivery of genetic information to families.
