Twist received the 2025 AASECT Sexuality Educator Award, a national recognition honoring outstanding contributions to sexuality education and the advancement of the field.
In addition to their scholarship and teaching, Twist also served as the Local Ambassador for the 2025 AASECT conference, supporting attendees and helping to create a welcoming, inclusive environment throughout the event.
