Lynn Horan ‘24 (GSLC, PhD) will release her book Dismantled: Abusive Church Culture and the Clergy Women Who Leave this spring through Tehom Center Publishing. Based on her dissertation, “Feminized Servanthood, Gendered Scapegoating, and the Disappearance of Gen-X/Millennial Protestant Clergy Women,” the book explores the systemic challenges women face in church leadership.
Horan’s research will also be featured in the upcoming anthology Inspirational Women Leaders: The Challenges and Rewards of Religion, Spirituality, Purpose, and Calling in Leadership, part of the International Leadership Association’s Transformative Women Leaders book series.
