Giselle Ruzany Presents Internationally on Embodied Storytelling and Therapy

Portrait of Giselle Ruzany smiling warmly outdoors, with short, curly gray hair and large hoop earrings. She is wearing a light-colored top and looking slightly upward, with soft natural light illuminating her face against a blurred green background.

Giselle Ruzany, PhD, BC-DMT, LPC, faculty in Counseling, Psychology, & Therapy at Antioch University New England, has recently presented her work internationally across conferences, workshops, and creative forums.

She presented her dissertation research at the Research Gestalt Conference in England and shared three embodied digital storytelling films at the Nuvens Nômades international forum in a Portugal–Brazil dance seminar. Ruzany also co-presented a workshop with Chevron Stewart at the Dance/Movement Therapy Conference, where more than 45 participants attended, and the session received strong feedback.

Her work integrates Dance/Movement Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and expressive arts through a multicultural and culturally responsive lens. She will continue this global engagement later this year as a guest speaker for Chinese students studying with the Inspirees educational group.
