Arianna Alexsandra Collins ’01 (New England, Environmental Administration) became the new Executive Director of the Hoosic River Watershed Association (HooRWA) on December 2021. This is a part-time position so she is happily still able to do her wild edibles land inventories work through her business Offerings for Community Building while rounding out her desire to serve as a leader for a small nonprofit environmental organization.
“As a lover and resident of the Deerfield and Connecticut River watersheds I am excited to adopt and be adopted by the Hoosic River watershed,” said Collins. “I look forward to immersing myself in HooRWA and getting to know the specific flora, fauna, and human culture of the Hoosic.”
