Anna Stookey (A.S. Aubrey) ’04 (Los Angeles, MA) will release her debut poetry chapbook, Hide & Seek: Poems for Being Found in a Lost World, from Finishing Line Press on November 27, 2026. The collection explores grief, illness, mortality, meaning, and connection. Stookey’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Plentitudes, POETICS, The Bangalore Review, and Querencia Press, among others. She was also longlisted for the 2025 Westword Prize and shortlisted for the 2025 Clarissa Dalloway Prize.

Stookey has also joined her father, folk musician Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary, for “Listening for the Notes: The Gift of Word & Song in Challenging Times,” which brings together his music, her poetry, storytelling, and conversation about creativity, meaning, and the power of listening. The pair performed at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, California, in April and the Camden Opera House in Camden, Maine, in August.

Reflecting on her time at Antioch, Stookey says, “I found a safe space to be in touch with both healing and creativity—both of which I believe are informed by ‘deep listening.’”

Hide & Seek is available for preorder from Finishing Line Press and will be released on November 27.
