Lorraine Mangione, PhD, has been named a Fellow in Division 10: Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts. This division highlights Mangione’s innovative work exploring the intersections of psychology, creativity, and the arts. Her contributions have significantly advanced understanding in these areas, bringing fresh insights and national recognition.

“From my dissertation on the creative process of one individual artist, to my current research and book on Bruce Springsteen’s women fans and how important their fandom is, creativity has been a theme in much of my clinical work, teaching, and research,” said Mangione. “I see it as a fundamental area of human experience that can enhance the practice and thinking of clinical psychologists.”
