Seattle’s MA in Couple and Family Therapy Ranked Fourth in the Country by Intelligent.com

Antioch University’s Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy in Seattle has once again been ranked as one of the top programs by Intelligent.com. For the year 2022, the MA in Couple and Family Therapy ranked fourth of 184 programs evaluated and was also awarded “Best Licensure Pass Rates.”

The comprehensive research guide was based on an assessment of 184 accredited colleges and universities across the nation. Each program was evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment to determine its ranking.

Antioch University’s high placement on this list indicates the program’s success in its mission of meeting the needs of each student, advancing social justice through thoughtful and student-centered training, and preparation of skilled, self-aware, ethical, and anti-racist couple and family therapists. Based on recent reporting, this distinction comes along with an impressive 100% of alumni indicating a passing result on the national exam for licensure and nearly 100% of alumni indicating they would recommend this program to others.

Seattle’s Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) program prepares and trains knowledgeable, skilled, self-aware, ethical, and anti-racist couple and family therapists in a learning environment that centers anti-white supremacy and social justice in its academic experience. The CFT program has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) since 2005, which is the highest level of accreditation in marriage and family therapy.
