Our Broken Present and Inspirational Words for Building a New Future

Antioch University’s Graduate School of Leadership and Change (GSLC) recently celebrated doctoral graduates during its 2020 virtual commencement. The ceremony included dedicated time for graduates to address loved ones, words from the Board of Governors and the University Chancellor, as well as a powerful address from GSLC’s Provost, Dr. Laurien Alexandre. The timely speech highlighted the fragile state of our democracy, our collective broken present, and an inspirational call to action for all to demand and fight for social justice to build a new future.
