Dr. Shoshana D. Kerewsky’s ’98 (New England, PsyD) memoir, “Cancer, Kintsugi, Camino,” describes her experiences in lyrical prose and poetry. A mosaic, the memoir builds the whole from bits and fragments, exploring not just breast cancer and the Camino de Santiago, but also Jewish, Buddhist, and atheist identities; relationships; AIDS and COVID; metaphors; haibun; and hypothetical cuckoos.
