Nathan Irwin ‘21 (Santa Barbara, BA), a current student in the MS in Environmental Studies program and his father, Michael Irwin, recently showcased paintings from their series, “Bygone,” a portrayal of the Southern California Steelhead, the most endangered fish in North America. The evening was held at The Community Arts Workshop in Santa Barbara and connected art, conservation, and community. They donated 30% of art sales to featured environmental organizations working to protect the steelhead. Special guest artists and future environmental leaders from Hope Elementary displayed their portrayal of the Southern California steelhead.
