PhD in Leadership and Change Professor of Organizational Behavior Lize Booysen, DBL, has been elected to the International Research Advisory Board of GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Booysen is an internationally recognized scholar-practitioner in leadership, culture, and diversity. With 38 years of experience in leadership and research and a 31-year career in higher education, Booysen has served thousands of leaders across educational institutions, corporate organizations, government agencies, and nonprofits as an educator, facilitator, consultant, trainer, or coach. Booysen is an adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), and a Professor Extraordinaire at the University of Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa. She also serves as International Visiting Faculty at the IEDC-Bled School of Management in their DBA program. Booysen is an inaugural distinguished fellow of the International Leadership Association (ILA) and a past Chair of the Business Leadership Member Interest Group of the ILA. Before relocating to the USA in 2008, she was a full professor at the Graduate School of Business Leadership, University of South Africa, where she held several leadership positions, including Academic Director and Research Manager.
