Julia Blumenreich ‘80 (Antioch College, BFA) explores grief and loss in her newly published collection of poetry, The What of Underfoot. This latest collection, published by Finishing Line Press, is her fourth book, with much of the content written over the course of two and a half years and workshopped in the weekly Osage Poets’ Workshop. Dr. Juan “Kiko” Suarez ’14 (PhD, GSLC) has been appointed Chief Academic Officer at Huntington Junior College in Huntington, WV. The appointment was made by HJC President Fred Fransen and is an important step in positioning the college for future success. As Chief Academic Officer, Suarez is tasked with growing the college’s academic offerings based on the needs of the local business community and national trends.
