Jen Baron’s Amplify Arts Project Empowers Young Women Through Music and Arts

Jen Baron ’15 (Santa Barbara, BA) was featured in an article in the VCReporter about her work as the Founder and Executive Director of Amplify Arts Project (formerly Girls Rock), a renowned music and arts camp for girls and young women. While a student at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, she was asked to present a final project detailing “a dream job.” Her project became the blueprint for Amplify Arts Project (formerly Girls Rock). After graduating in 2015, Baron dedicated herself to harnessing the power of music to change lives.

Amplify Arts Project, which has gained significant recognition for its award-winning approach, offers a year-round platform for young women to explore their creativity and build confidence. Baron’s work has been instrumental in empowering girls and young women to find their voices and express themselves through music and art. It is designed to foster artistic skill, confidence, and self-expression among its participants.
