Jake Bailey ‘20 (Los Angeles, MFA in Creative Writing) read his poem, “Hallucinatory Experiment No. 8,” for Illanot Review’s Toxic virtual launch party. Bailey had several poems published including “Portrait of a Mouth” in Tab Journal, “Schizo Sees the Man in/on a Coffee Shop” in Booth, “Balloon of Blood,” in The American Journal of Poetry, “Schizo Reads a Tombstone on the Set of a Western” in Frontier Poetry, “Portrait of a Storm” in Passages North, and “The Carnality of Clearing” in Rust + Moth.
