Hang Yin Candy Lo, Senior Lecturer at Antioch University, has received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). This national honor is presented annually to an ADTA member who has made a significant and specific contribution to the advancement of dance/movement therapy in their local community.
Each year, ADTA recognizes individuals whose work uplifts, advances, and embodies the spirit of dance/movement therapy—professionals and community members nominated by the Association’s membership. These awards honor those who inspire through service, innovation, leadership, advocacy, and artistry in motion.
With this award, Lo is recognized as part of a community of dance/movement therapists who continue to plant seeds, extend branches, and grow together in the field.
