Chandler-the-Crocodile-BookGrace Estle ‘15 (Midwest, BA Creative Writing) published Chandler the Crocodile, a picture book that empowers toddlers and early readers to embrace what makes them special: their differences. The book spreads self-love and acceptance while celebrating diversity.

“As an Asian American, I recognize the importance of cherishing diversity and embracing uniqueness,” said Estle. “If I can empower one child to overcome adversity, then I can celebrate one victory for humanity.”

Estle will be discussing the book themes in an upcoming worldwide podcast called, Reading with Your Kids.
