Dr. Fayth Parks

PhD in Leadership and Change Professor of Leadership and Psychology Fayth Parks has focused decades to build awareness of HIV prevention and support and has most recently been noted for her work within The Rural Monitor article entitled, “A Safe Place’: Rural HIV Patients and Providers Fight Stigma, Isolation Through Connection.”

The article highlights the impactful nonprofit organizations and advocates providing services and support for people living with HIV in rural communities. Published by the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), the article includes the history of the Rural HIV Research and Training Conference, findings from Parks’ co-authored journal article on rural HIV stigma, and a link to join the newly formed Rural HIV Health Equity Network (RHHEN).
