Dr. Lisa Berkley ‘20 (GSLC, PhD) had the honor of being one of the co-authors of Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 18, titled “Compassionate California,” passed by the California Senate. Introduced into the Senate by Senator Dave Cortese, this resolution lays the groundwork for legislation and policy that may make us a compassionate country.
