Cheryl Jordan ’11 (GSLC, PhD) was recently profiled in Ebony magazine discussing her new memoir, Hang on Tight. Pray.: A Journey from Perfection to Peace. The book explores her experiences providing care for her ailing mother while navigating the complex and often lacking long-term-care system. Hang on Tight offers an honest depiction of the difficulty of caregiving, finding peace when faced with seemingly insurmountable situations, and the love that exists between a parent and their child.
