Jessica Meck ’18 (New England, MS) and Research Faculty Liz Willey, PhD, co-authored a paper titled ”Quantifying the relative importance of survival threats to a long-lived reptile using expert elicitation,” in the journal Endangered Species Research (ESR), published by Inter-Research. The study used expert elicitation and demographic modeling to identify which threats most affect the survival of the long-lived wood turtle, helping conservationists prioritize the most effective management actions.
