Twenty-Four $12,000 Scholarships to Support Incoming Doctoral Students
Beginning with the 2026-27 academic year, Antioch University is expanding its President’s Doctoral Fellowship so that it will now offer 24 students per year fellowships of $12,000 per student. The President’s Doctoral Fellowship, which was originally launched at Antioch University’s New England campus, is now open to students across all of Antioch’s campuses and doctoral programs. The first university-wide recipients will be chosen from students starting in Summer 2026.
“The President’s Doctoral Fellowship increases both access and impact—supporting doctoral students whose academic work is informed by professional practice and lived experience,” said Lori Varlotta, PhD, President of Antioch University. “By making this fellowship available to students across all campuses and programs, including international students, Antioch is supporting learners worldwide to lead and strengthen the institutions and communities they serve.”
Students apply through Antioch University’s Scholarship Universe platform. Awards are based on prior academic achievement (minimum 3.40 GPA) and demonstrated work and life experience. Recipients must remain enrolled full-time, successfully complete each registered course, and maintain satisfactory academic progress, which will be reviewed each term. The awards of $12,000 per student will be distributed equally over the first two registered years of a student’s doctoral program.
