The Graduate School of Leadership and Change is set to launch a new series to support our lifelong learning community.
Facilitated by Drs. Beth Mabry, Amy Rutstein-Riley, Harriet Schwartz, Pivot Points is a monthly facilitated group exploring personal and professional pivots and transformations that will create space for a deep dive into the transformative power of peer and relational mentoring as together we explore new professional interests and develop strategies for shifting to the next professional stage or sector of practice. Inspired by requests for mentorship on such issues from students and alums, exploration topics may include transitions and leadership identity, forging a new professional path, resilience, self-understanding, and reinvention, among others, to be determined with the group participants. This group is intended to be a space for co-learning, self-exploration, and testing new ideas about the next pivot.
The group will meet on Zoom for 90 minutes monthly from February through June 2025. We invite all current PhD in Leadership and Change students and alumni to participate, with the understanding that a shared commitment to continuous participation is crucial for the peer-mentorship model. The group will be capped at 20, ensuring a focused and engaging experience for all participants.
