Peter Nichols Publishes Crime Thriller

Maine author Peter Nichols ‘12 (Los Angeles, MFA) just released his latest crime thriller, “Granite Harbor,” a fictional story based on his own life as a single father living in the small, coastal town of Camden, Maine. 

Nichols is known for his bestselling novel “The Rocks,” currently in development as a TV miniseries. He has also authored several nonfiction bestsellers, including “A Voyage for Madmen” and “Evolution’s Captain.” 

In addition to being an alum of Antioch’s MFA program, he has taught creative writing at Antioch University and at various institutions, including Georgetown University, Bowdoin College, and New York University in Paris. His journalism was recognized with a Pushcart Prize nomination.
