The International Scholarship for the Common Good (ISLP) has been designed to financially support educational access to the Master in Leadership Practice (MLP) program based on demonstrated leadership accomplishments and financial needs of candidates based outside the United States. The common good/responsible leadership may be defined as a commitment towards causes and practices that intend/aspire to enhance individual, community, and societal well-being. The leadership practices for the common good/responsible leadership may reside in the public sector, private sector, or social sector. Causes that would fit under the umbrella of leadership practices for the common good would include efforts toward (but not be limited to) poverty alleviation, education access, climate change, gender equity, corporate social responsibility, food justice, and health care access.
