Alumna Named New Leader of DC Bilingual Public Charter School

PhD in Leadership and Change alumna Dr. Charis Sharp has been named Executive Director of the Latin American Montessori Bilingual (LAMB) Public Charter School. LAMB’s mission is to create a self-directed learning environment in which children build a foundation of knowledge essential for a lifetime of learning while developing bi-literacy in English and Spanish.

Dr. Sharp embodies over 25 years of experience in education, with extensive training and expertise in organizational development, leadership and Montessori administration, and public policy.  She is a Senior Consultant for Metro Consulting and serves as Board Chair for the Montessori Public Policy Initiative, in Washington D.C.
