  • Rob Montoya ’08

    Rob Montoya ’08 (Los Angeles, MFA) received a Fulbright grant to work with the nation of Kosovo. Montoya will be partnering with the U.S. Embassy and the National Library of Kosovo to create a national Information and Library Science program.

    Emily Mastaler ’08 (New England, MA) has been named CEO of Bay River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, NY. Mastaler has been chief operating officer of Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) in Springfield, VT since 2014.

    Karen Gilliam ’06 (GSLC, PhD) was selected to serve as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Chief Learning Officer and Organization Development Capability Lead. Additionally, Dr. Gilliam recently obtained the Associate Certified Coaches credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF).

    Sean Creighton ’06 (GSLC, PhD) has been named president of The New American Colleges and Universities (NACU). NACU is a national consortium of selective independent higher education institutions dedicated to the integration of liberal education, professional studies, and civic engagement.

    Carolyn Back ’06 (Seattle, BA) was hired in January 2018 as Director of Planning with Tulsa firm, KKT Architects. Back has more than seventeen years of experience in her field, and her directorship allows the firm to add land planning services and pre-development research through site analysis and due diligence reports.

    Vanessa Dominguez ’05 (New England, MA) is the Director of Disabled Students Programs and Services at Orange Coast. Dominguez previously served as the Director of Disability Services and Adjunct Professor in the Physician’s Assistant program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
