    Adrien Kade Sdao ’19 (Los Angeles, MFA in Creative Writing) had an essay “Dear Glitch” published in Lady/Liberty/Lit, and “Homeless/Hopeless/Helpless,” appeared in Unlikely Stories. Sdao was accepted into the MA in Children’s Literature program at Kansas State University.

    Noah Christensen, Kelsee Luttgens, Rose Nayar, Angelika Bowles ’19 (Los Angeles, BA) were accepted to present their original research in oral sessions at the Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR), an annual celebration of excellence in undergraduate research.

  • Akemi Imai ’18

    Akemi Imai ’18 (Los Angeles, MA) was hired as Programs Manager of the Oakland Asian Cultural Center. Imai served as a founding board member and the inaugural executive director for Makoto Taiko, a nonprofit taiko drumming group in Pasadena. She was also a performer and instructor in Makoto Taiko for 17 years.

    Nicole Martin ’17 (Los Angeles, MA) was hired as the inaugural head coach of Loyola Marymount University Athletic’s Spirit Squad.
