Torin Finser Teaches Waldorf Workshop in Mexico

Torin Finser, chair of the Department of Education at Antioch University New England, traveled to Mexico recently to give a workshop on site-based management and school governance to the Cuernavaca Waldorf School.

Torin brought a suitcase filled with copies of new Spanish translations of two of his books, School Renewal, and his latest, Finding Your Self: Exercises and Suggestions for Teachers.  All copies sold within the first hour, Torin said.

Staff at the Cuernavaca Waldorf School, which has a part-time teacher education program, expressed interest in a partnership with AUNE, in which they would send a few students to the summer intensive and healing education programs in the AUNE Waldorf Teacher Education program.

Torin also visited another one of Mexico’s thirty Waldorf schools, some of which are very small.
