I’ve enjoyed the return-to-school experience much more than I expected. I’m certain that has much to do with the AULA learning environment, the helpful staff, and the awesome, inaugural cohort of which I am proud to be a part. Each cohort member has so much to add to the in-class discussions. The instructor is also very engaging and asks thought-provoking questions, and I enjoy the stimulating conversations that ensue from lectures… I’ve gained competencies that allow me to take on more responsibilities at work and become a more effective nonprofit professional.

Sunshine is a registration and outreach manager at Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), whose mission is to inspire and develop its global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. Her interests include cooking and baking, being a mother to two young daughters, gathering friends together, laughing, and sleeping.
