Real estate agent and college coach for teens in Los Angeles

Claudia Kielich attended the BA program at AULA as an adult learner and then completed the MA program in Organizational Management, which has since transformed into the MA in Nonprofit Management program. She is a real estate agent and college coach for teens based in Los Angeles.

What is your educational and career background?

My educational background includes finishing my BA as an adult learner at Antioch and completing the MAOM degree. I continued on to Cal State University Dominguez Hills, College of Extended & International Education, where I received a Community College Teaching Certificate, and then taught at LA Harbor.

What inspired you to become a college coach?

My business of College Coaching begins with 70 questions I have created from my wonderful days of psych and behavior studies at Antioch. I continue with study skills, behavior modification and then homework!

We move to College Coaching Junior Year when each portion of the application is broken down and addressed.

What inspired me on my current career path was getting my 12 nieces and nephews into college when they left a missionary cult in India and 5 of them landed on my doorstep. Since they were all homeschooled I began by getting them into SMC and then Berkley, UCLA, UC San Diego—  all on scholarships.

How has your time at Antioch served you in your life and career?

Antioch served me well. The education I received as an adult learner can be molded into so many career paths and also provide a foundation for a life of service.

I tell my students, short sentences and short paragraphs!! So I am signing off!!
