Sobel to Receive Environmental Education Award

David Sobel, core faculty in the Department of Education, will receive the Champion of Environmental Education award from Thorne Nature Experience at its sixth annual Natural Night Out, on October 19 in Boulder, Colorado.

Thorne Nature Experience, formerly Thorne Ecological Institute, was founded in 1954 in Boulder to provide hands-on, place-based environmental education experiences to youth. It has two outdoor education facilities in the Boulder/Denver Metro area: at Sombrero Marsh in Boulder and Waterton Canyon in Littleton.


Counseling and Collaboration in Western Massachusetts

Susan M. Quigley, PsyD and Elaine F. Campbell, PsyD, both graduated from Antioch New England’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program in 1999. They supported each other through their studies and collaborated on their doctoral dissertations. Over the years they’ve maintained a professional exchange and friendship that is a testament to its beginnings at Antioch.
