Sobel, Alum, to Speak at National Green Schools Conference in February

David Sobel, core faculty in AUNE’s Department of Education, will speak at the third annual Green Schools National Conference, held February 22-24 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The conference will bring together ‘green school’ administrators, teachers, students, and parents in the United States and Canada to discuss environmental literacy, energy efficiency, healthier food, eco-friendly purchasing, and other issues.

Sobel will be a panelist, along with AUNE alumna Jennifer Seydel, PhD ’08,  a school designer with Expeditionary Learning Schools in Madison, Wisconsin, in a session titled Supporting Teachers who Transform Schools.

Early-bird reduced registration to the conference is available through January 9, 2013. Students are encouraged to attend. Find more information here.
