Smelt Return!

In “Smelt Return!” published in the November 2012 issue of Fishermen’s Voice, Charles Curtin, core faculty in AUNE’s Department of Environmental Studies, and Kate Hotchkiss Taylor, explain work to bring back smelt populations off North Haven,  Maine. Curtin has been leading the restoration efforts since 2005.

Fishermen’s Voice, published in Gouldsboro, Maine, is a magazine of “news and comment for and by the fishermen of Maine.”
