Ren Knerr

I have a cross-genre focus in Fiction and Writing for Young People, which is a new genre offered in the MFA program. It’s an exciting genre with the scope to go to a lot of places. The faculty is very enthusiastic, and the mentors are amazing… The workshop experience at the residency is an important part and a wonderful part of the residency.

Ren is a full-time student, part-time entertainment fix-it-all, and is interested in fencing, languages, and writing (of course). Ren is originally from Canberra, Australia and studied in the MFA program, specializing cross-genre writing for both Fiction and Writing for Young People.
