Prof Jimmy Karlan Named to Board of Vermont Partnership for Fairness and Diversity

Science Teacher Certification Program Director Jimmy Karlan has joined the board of directors for the Vermont Partnership for Fairness and Diversity. The partnership, based in Brattleboro, Vermont, works to strengthen fairness and diversity in local communities by eliminating prejudice and discrimination of all kinds. The group’s mission is to help all people advocate for their rights when violated; to educate community members on the realities, challenges, and skills needed to thrive in a world of differences; and to inform policymakers on the issues and recommendations that impact the quality of life of those who are most disenfranchised.
