Perpetual Food Pledge Redux at AUNE

Perhaps you’ve gotten a little lackadaisical about your Perpetual Food Pledge over the summer. Perhaps you never got around to signing the pledge in the first place. Perhaps you’ve never heard of the Perpetual Food Pledge.

The Perpetual Food Pledge is a great initiative, promoted by the Department of Management’s Net Impact chapter, to boost donations to food banks and community kitchens. When you sign, you promise to buy one healthy, nonperishable food item to donate to the hungry each time you go shopping.

There are several food boxes around the Antioch University New England (AUNE) campus where you can place donations for the Keene Community Kitchen. Since February 2012, the AUNE community has donated 503 pounds of food.

If you haven’t signed the pledge yet, find it here. Your hungry neighbors need you!
