Join us Tuesday, July 24, 4:00-6:00 pm for a special lecture on Global Rainforests presented by Dr. Dawn Osborn, Marine Biologist and Interim BA Chair. Dr. Osborn will discuss current events affecting rainforest ecology around the world. She will share information from her recent trip to the Cloud Forests in Monte Verde in Costa Rica. You will learn what you can do to advocate for the health of our rainforests, which provide over twenty-five percent of oxygen for the planet.
This event is free and open to the public. Learn more about this lecture and our Environment in Focus: Rainforest Advocacy film series programs this Summer.
