Oleta Fitzgerald ’16 (Midwest, MA) serves on the executive committee of the Southern Rural Black Women’s Initiative for Economic and Social Justice, a collective of women leaders across Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia dedicated to lifting up Black women and families in rural, impoverished areas. Oleta is the Southern Regional Director of the Children’s Defense Fund, running the regional office in Jackson, MS.
