The Advocacy for Social Justice and Sustainability Program at Antioch University New England (AUNE), Nuke Free Antioch, and Nuke Free Monadnock, will present a Non-Violent Direct Action training event on Saturday, December 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the AUNE Community Room. The workshop is open to the public.
The training will be run by Betsy Williams and Court Dorsey, experienced non-violence trainers from the Safe And Green Energy (SAGE) Alliance. The purpose of the training is to give participants an understanding of the use of non-violent direct action in social change strategy, teach them how to conduct an action, and inform them of the legal ramifications of NVDA.
Please bring $5 to cover training costs, and a bag lunch.
