Nancy Leffert Receives Award from Pacific Coast Business Times

Antioch University Santa Barbara President Nancy Leffert was honored in the March 25 issue of the Pacific Coast Business Times featuring the Top 50 Women in Business.

Dr. Leffert received the Editor’s Choice award in the category of Nonprofits & Health Care from the newspaper, which ran a full profile with photos in the issue. The profile focused on Dr. Leffert’s successes in increasing enrollment, expanding the program offerings, and raising awareness of Antioch in the community during her tenure at AUSB, which began in 2009. Dr. Leffert will retire as President of AUSB on June 30.

One of Dr. Leffert’s most significant accomplishments was moving the AUSB into its current building. “The move to this campus made us a lot more visible in the community,” she said in the article.

Renee Grubb, a member of the AUSB Board of Trustees, also was honored in the edition with the Editor’s Choice award in the Real Estate & Construction category for her work with Village Properties.

The full Top 50 Women in Business issue is available online to Pacific Coast Business Times subscribers.
