Meghan Szczebak Wins 2007 Heroes in the Fight Award

WHAT: Meghan Szczebak is a winner of the 2007 Heroes in the Fight Award, sponsored by the Washington Community Mental Health Council. She won not only the King County Award, but won the Washington State Award as well. Szczebak was nominated by NAMI for her work at Harborview Hospital on the Certificate of Rehabilitation Pilot Project, which is partially the subject of her dissertation.

Winners of this award are recognized as “individuals who make extraordinary contributions through their efforts, creativity, flexibility, and friendship, or by taking their pursuit of best practices to new heights, embracing cross-system collaboration, being open to consumer voices, performing duties in an exemplary manner, displaying accessibility, or managing quality incomes.”
