Lorraine Mangione, professor of clinical psychology, along with two PsyD alumni, has co-authored two chapters in Benessere Psicologico: Contemporary Thought on Italian American Mental Health:
- Italians Tend to Keep Their Dead with Them: Navigating Grief and Loss in Italian American Culture. Donna DiCello, PsyD ’96, is first author.
- The Use of Poetry in Identity Development in Italian American Women. Rachel McBride, PsyD ’11, is the second author. The book was published in November by the City University of New York’s Calandra Institute.
Mangione and DiCello will be on a panel discussing the book, on April 9 at the Calandra Institute.
