Lyness Leads Accreditation Training at AAMFT Annual Conference in Austin, Texas

Dr. Kevin Lyness, program director of the AUNE Marriage and Family Therapy PhD Program, led the day-long accreditation training at the annual conference of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) in Austin, Texas, held September 3-6, 2015. Dr. Lyness is currently Chair of the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), the professional accrediting body for MFT programs in the US and Canada, and sponsor of the training.

The AAMFT is the professional association for the marriage and family therapy field, representing the interests of its more than 50,000 members. The organization’s annual conference represents the world’s leading education and networking event for marriage and family therapists, providing the opportunity to learn from experts in the industry and to network with peers. Counseling and Collaboration in Western Massachusetts

Susan M. Quigley, PsyD and Elaine F. Campbell, PsyD, both graduated from Antioch New England’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program in 1999. They supported each other through their studies and collaborated on their doctoral dissertations. Over the years they’ve maintained a professional exchange and friendship that is a testament to its beginnings at Antioch.
