Lorraine Mangione to Present on Bruce Springsteen at Creativity and Madness Conference

Lorraine Mangione, PhD, core faculty and director of practica in the Department of Clinical Psychology, will be presenting at this summer’s Creativity and Madness conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico, August 3-7. Dr. Mangione’s presentation is on “Tragedy, Loss, and Transformation within Bruce Springsteen’s Work” and is based on her research on how people persevere, survive, and even thrive in the face of personal tragedy.

Dr. Mangione has co-authored an article on the subject in the journal Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts.
