Local Institutions Benefit From PSC Involvement

Victor Pantesco, professor of clinical psychology and director of AUNE’s Psychological Services Center (PSC), and PsyD student Ellette DiPietro will soon be conducting a group at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene called “Strategic Chronic Pain Management.”  The group will meet weekly. Membership is determined by referrals from physicians at the clinic.

The PSC has just secured participation in a grant at the Cheshire County Corrections facility in Marlborough, New Hampshire. Pairs of PSC students will work with male and female inmates on cognitive change strategies to reduce recidivism, in addition to a focused group on substance abuse management.
