Kaplin Heads to Rwanda to Teach

Beth Kaplin, core faculty member in AUNE’s Department of Environmental Studies and director of the Center for Tropical Ecology and Conservation, heads to the National University of Rwanda (NUR) in Butare, Rwanda, from August 1 to 17 to teach in NUR’s master of science in Biodiversity Conservation program. Kaplin will also mentor students in the new program and work on the Regional Network for Conservation Educators.
